Chase Field, originally called Bank One Ballpark or simply "Bob", opened for the first Arizona Diamondbacks game in 1998. Chase Field is a five-level stadium with seating for nearly 50,000 and at the time of its construction, it was the only stadium in the United States with a retractable roof. Other impressive features include a swimming pool located in the stands near right-center field and an air conditioning system that can cool the entire stadium by 30 degrees Fahrenheit in just four hours.
